The Trailer Rental Program has been suspended for the 2026 year. You can review the full plans and considerations below.
Starting in 2026, customers will receive one smaller bill each month. The annual total stays the same.
The Green Waste Subscription Service operates from the second Monday in March through the second week of December.
Green Waste collection stops after the second week of December for winter. Please store your green can until the program resumes in March.
WFWRD does not operate on these three major holidays:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year’s Day
These are the only holidays that change the schedule. If one falls on a weekday, all remaining collection days that week typically shift forward by one day.
Christmas tree collection is available to WFWRD-serviced residents and is completed by service request only.
The Christmas Tree Request Form opens December 15.

Christmas Tree Collection
Season: Limited-time curbside collection after the holidays.
Program runs from January 1 – January 31. Request form opens December 15, 2025.
- Place natural, undecorated trees at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your regular collection day.
- Remove all lights, ornaments, tinsel, stands, and plastic bags.
- Cut trees taller than 8 feet into smaller sections.

Weekly curbside collection of yard waste from March through December.
