🗑️ Additional Garbage Can Request

Use this form to request an additional garbage can for your property. All requests must be submitted by the homeowner of record.

📄 Additional Garbage Can Contract

This agreement is entered into between the homeowner and the Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District (WFWRD) for the provision of an additional garbage can. By submitting this request, the homeowner acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. Account Status
   Your account must be current and in good standing in order to request additional garbage services.
2. Fees
   Startup Fee: $70 one-time, non-refundable, for each additional garbage can.
   Quarterly Billing: $58.50
3. Use of Additional Garbage Can
   • The can is for use only at the specified service address.
   • The can remains the property of WFWRD.
   • All garbage must fit entirely inside the can with the lid fully or nearly closed (within 45°).
   • Overflow or items placed outside the can will not be collected.
4. Placement Guidelines
   Place all cans at least 3 feet away from:
   • Vehicles
   • Trees or shrubs
   • Street signs or mailboxes
   • Other cans
5. Damage Policy
   Damage beyond normal wear and tear will result in a $70 replacement fee.
