Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District offers two convenient options for glass recycling: curbside collection and drop-off sites. Both methods help reduce landfill waste and support sustainable practices across our communities.

Residents may use curbside glass recycling service where available or use a 24/7 residential glass drop-off site.

Glass Recycling Subscription

Residents can subscribe to curbside glass recycling service through WFWRD’s collection partner. This is an easy way to recycle glass directly from home.

Availability may vary by area. If your location is not eligible, please use a glass drop-off site.

Glass Recycling Drop-Off

WFWRD drop-off sites are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for residential glass recycling.

Drop-off bins are intended for residential glass recycling. Please place glass directly inside the bins and do not leave materials on the ground.

Follow these reminders to help keep glass recycling locations clean, safe, and available for residential use.

Residential Use Only

Drop-off bins are for residential glass waste only. Please do not dispose of commercial glass.

Plan Ahead

Drop-off sites can be busy on weekends. Weekdays are typically less crowded.

Keep Sites Clean

Deposit glass directly into the bins. Do not leave bags, boxes, or other materials on the ground.

Residential Use Only

Drop-off sites are intended for residential glass recycling. Commercial glass should not be placed in these bins.

Place Glass Inside the Bin

Do not leave glass, boxes, bags, or other materials on the ground around the drop-off area.

Help Keep Sites Safe

If a site is full or busy, use another available location or return at a less crowded time.
