Glass Recycling Collection
Glass Recycling
Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District offers two convenient options for glass recycling: curbside collection and drop-off sites. Both methods help reduce landfill waste and support sustainable practices across our communities.

Glass Recycling Options
Residents may use curbside glass recycling service where available or use a 24/7 residential glass drop-off site.
Drop-Off Guidelines
Follow these reminders to help keep glass recycling locations clean, safe, and available for residential use.
Residential Use Only
Drop-off bins are for residential glass waste only. Please do not dispose of commercial glass.
Plan Ahead
Drop-off sites can be busy on weekends. Weekdays are typically less crowded.
Keep Sites Clean
Deposit glass directly into the bins. Do not leave bags, boxes, or other materials on the ground.
Why Recycle Glass?
Glass recycling supports resource conservation and helps reduce landfill impact.
Reduce raw material use
Recycling glass helps reduce the need to extract raw materials such as sand, soda ash, and limestone.
Keep glass out of disposal
Using curbside or drop-off glass recycling helps reduce the amount of recyclable material sent to the landfill.
Support local recycling
Glass recycling supports a more sustainable waste system across the communities served by WFWRD.
