What are the Central Bulky Waste Public Drop-Off Events?

The Central Bulky Waste Public Drop-Off program provides residents currently receiving Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District trash and recycling services with an opportunity to bring bulky household items to a designated central drop-off location for disposal.

This program is intended for large household materials only and is not for regular household trash, bagged waste, or routine garbage disposal. Residents should be prepared to unload their own materials upon arrival.

Public Drop-Off Event Update

All Central Bulky Waste Public Drop-Off events are now closed or cancelled. Due to lack of participation, WFWRD cancelled the events previously planned for Millcreek, Holladay, and Murray. Closing these events allows WFWRD to focus additional resources on container deliveries and filling container waitlist requests.

Need to Dispose of Bulky Waste?

Although the Central Public Drop-Off events have ended, eligible Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District customers may still use their Annual Digital Landfill Voucher to dispose of approved household waste at participating landfills.
