Wasatch Front Waste and Recycling District provides sustainable, integrated waste and recycling collection services that promote the health, safety, and well-being of the communities we serve. Our work emphasizes environmental stewardship, fiscal responsibility, and reliable customer service—because not everything fits in the can.

We are committed to dependable service and responsive customer support. Based on survey results, we reported a 94% satisfaction rating (2021). Each year, we manage the collection and hauling of approximately 148,000 tons of waste from more than 86,000 homes.
Our services include weekly curbside garbage and recycling collection, plus subscription-based green waste collection. Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District transitioned from a Local District to a Special Service District, supporting efficient operations and community oversight. Governance is provided by the Board of Trustees.
