Wasatch Front Waste and Recycling District’s mission is to provide sustainable, integrated waste and recycling collection services for the health and safety of the community — because not everything fits in the can.

We take pride in delivering world-class customer service—reflected in our 94% satisfaction rating (2021). Each year, we manage the collection and hauling of approximately 148,000 tons of waste from more than 86,000 homes.
Our services include weekly curbside garbage, recycling, and subscription-based green waste collection. Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District transitioned from a Local District to a Special Service District, enhancing operational efficiency and community oversight. Governance is provided by the Board of Trustees.
