Reserve your General Reservation Container

Eligible General Reservation customers can reserve a seasonal container during the general reservation period. Customers who did not get a chance to reserve during their Early Bird window can also reserve during the General period.

What these dates mean

  • Postcard mail date: when informational postcards are mailed.
  • Website reservation opens: when you may reserve your container online.
  • SCRP servicing dates: containers are delivered and serviced during these dates.

Early Bird and General rules

  • To qualify for Early Bird, your postcard must say “Early Bird.”
  • Early Bird is for customers who did not get a container last year.
  • General is for customers who did get a container last year, and for anyone who did not reserve during Early Bird.

Reservation Window: Opens at 8:00 AM on your city’s General Reservation date and remains open for up to three days, closing at 11:55 PM on the third day (dates may fill before the window ends).

Before You Submit

How to Enter Your Address

Do not enter the full address. This may cause an error.

Instead:
  • Start by typing the first four numbers of your home address.
  • Select your address from the auto-populated list.
  • If needed, type one additional character at a time (example: “1234 S”) until it appears.
  • If your address still does not appear, email info@wfwrdutah.gov and we will verify it is in the system.

If you live in a gated community, include the gate code under “Dumpster Delivery Instructions.”

Confirmation and Help

After the Operations Department reviews and confirms your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with all necessary details. Please check your inbox periodically (including junk/spam folders).

Avoid duplicate reservations. Booking multiple dates may result in delays or denial.
