All hazardous materials listed below can be safely dropped off at this facility, located at the Salt Lake Valley Landfill.

Common Hazardous Waste Items

🎨 Paint & Solvents

Take oil-based paint, stains, and thinners to the landfill’s HHW facility or select retailers that recycle paint.

🔋 Batteries

Drop off rechargeable or lithium batteries at the HHW facility or participating stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s.

💻 Electronics (E-Waste)

Recycle TVs, computers, phones, and small electronics at the landfill or community e-waste events.

🛢️ Motor Oil & Filters

Used oil and filters are accepted at the landfill’s HHW center and many local auto shops.

💊 Medications

Unused or expired medications can be taken to designated pharmacy drop boxes or police stations.

🌿 Pesticides & Fertilizers

Bring lawn and garden chemicals to the HHW facility for proper handling and disposal.
