Curbside Assistance Program Request Form

Wasatch Front Waste and Recycling District offers curbside assistance service to eligible residents who need help moving their waste and recycling cans to the curb and returning them after collection.

Program Purpose

This service is designed for residents who are unable to safely move their cans to and from the curb without assistance.

Eligibility Review

Requests are reviewed to confirm that the household meets the District’s assistance program requirements.

Next Step

A supervisor will contact you within 1 to 2 weeks to schedule a visit and review program requirements.

Important: Complete all contact and address information carefully so staff can review your request and follow up without delay.

Eligibility Criteria

  • There is no one living at the address who can safely move the waste and recycling cans to the curb on collection day.
  • There is a medical or physical condition that limits your ability to move the cans.

Conditions for Service

  • Cans must be stored in a location that is easily accessible to District drivers and not behind gates, doors, or other barriers.
  • A clear pathway from the storage area to the street must be maintained at all times, including snow removal and removal of parked cars, debris, or other obstacles.
  • If these conditions are not met, service may be paused until compliance is restored.
