Cancellation of Additional Service Requests

Use this form to request cancellation of additional services you no longer need. Once submitted, District staff will review the request, arrange can collection when needed, and remove the qualifying service from your account.

Requests to cancel additional services such as an extra recycling can, green waste subscription, or glass recycling service.

What happens next

If a can must be retrieved, our Cart Team will schedule collection and remove the service from your account after processing.

Pickup timeframe

Can retrieval is generally completed within 1 to 14 business days. Please leave the can visible and accessible for pickup.

Important: To avoid delays, enter the correct service address, clearly list the service or services you want canceled, and follow the cart preparation instructions below if a can will be removed.

Can collection instructions

If your cancellation request requires can retrieval, please follow the steps below to help ensure successful pickup:

Place the can where it is clearly visible and easily accessible to the driver.
Mark the can so our team can identify it for removal.
Use one of these methods:
- Place a sign on the can that says “Take this can”.
- Use tape to create a visible “X” on the can.

Important billing notice: If we are unable to retrieve the can because it is not available, not marked, or not accessible, the service charge may remain or be reinstated on your billing statement.
