Cancellation of Additional Service Requests

Use this form to request cancellation of additional services you no longer need. District staff will review the request, arrange can collection when needed, and remove the qualifying service from your account.

Use This Form For

Requests to cancel additional services such as an extra recycling can, green waste subscription, or glass recycling service.

What Happens Next

If a can must be retrieved, the Cart Team will schedule collection and remove the service from your account after processing.

Pickup Timeframe

Can retrieval is generally completed within 1 to 14 business days. Please leave the can visible and accessible for pickup.

Important: To avoid delays, enter the correct service address, clearly list the service or services you want canceled, and follow the cart preparation instructions below if a can will be removed.

Can Collection Instructions

If your cancellation request requires can retrieval, please follow the steps below to help ensure successful pickup:

  1. Place the can where it is clearly visible and easily accessible to the driver.
  2. Mark the can so the Cart Team can identify it for removal.
  3. Use one of these methods:
    • Place a sign on the can that says “Take this can”.
    • Use tape to create a visible “X” on the can.

Important billing notice: If WFWRD is unable to retrieve the can because it is not available, not marked, or not accessible, the service charge may remain or be reinstated on your billing statement.

How to enter your address

  • Begin by entering the first few numbers of your service address.
  • Select your address from the list that appears.
  • If it does not appear right away, continue typing one additional character at a time until the address is displayed.

Re-enter the full service address to confirm the exact location for the cancellation request.
Type your own full name. Check the electronic-signature agreement below, then select Submit Cancellation Request to sign and submit this form electronically.
