Additional Recycling Can Request

Use this form to request an additional recycling can for your property. Requests must be made by the homeowner.
Renters must contact their landlord to submit this request on their behalf.

Additional Recycling Can Contract

This Agreement is entered into between the homeowner and the Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District (WFWRD) for the provision of an Additional Recycling can. By submitting this request, the homeowner acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. Account Status

Your account must be current and in good standing in order to request additional garbage services.

2. Fees

  • Startup Fee: $70 (one-time, non-refundable) for each additional recycle can.
  • Quarterly Billing: $15 

3. Use of Additional Recycling Can

  • The can is for use only at the specified service address.
  • The can remains the property of WFWRD.
  • All recyclables must fit inside the can with the lid fully or nearly closed (within 45 degrees).
  • Overflow or items placed outside the can will not be collected.

4. Placement Guidelines

Place all cans at least 3 feet away from:

  • Vehicles
  • Trees or shrubs
  • Street signs or mailboxes
  • Other cans

5. Damage Policy

Damage beyond normal wear and tear will result in a $70 replacement fee.

Please specify the quantity of additional cans needed.
Note: Renters must ask the homeowner to submit this form on their behalf.
