Additional Green Can Request

The Green Waste Subscription Service runs from the second Monday in March through the second Friday in December. Herriman collection occurs on Monday. All other areas are collected on the regular collection day. This request must be submitted by the homeowner of record.

The homeowner of record must submit this request. The name entered on this form must match the name on the home deed.

Additional Green Waste Can Subscription Contract

By submitting this request, the homeowner enters into an agreement with Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District (WFWRD) for the use of an additional green waste can at the service address provided.

  1. Account Status
    The account must be current and in good standing to receive green waste collection services.
  2. Fees & Billing
    ▪ Startup Fee: $70 per can (one-time)
    ▪ Monthly Billing: $3.50 per month for each additional green waste can
    ▪ Service runs March through December and is billed monthly
  3. Use of Additional Green Waste Can
    ▪ For use only at the specified service address
    ▪ The can remains property of WFWRD
    ▪ All green waste must fit inside the can with the lid fully or nearly closed
    ▪ Overflowing items or materials placed outside the can will not be collected
    ▪ No plastic bags are allowed in the green waste can
  4. Placement Guidelines
    Place cans at least 3 feet away from vehicles, trees or shrubs, street signs or mailboxes, and other cans.
  5. Damage Policy
    Damage beyond normal wear and tear will result in a $70 replacement fee.
