Please review and accept the agreement below before submitting your request for an additional garbage can. Only the homeowner of record may submit this form.

⚠️ Renters: Please contact your landlord or property owner. Only the homeowner can authorize an additional garbage can request.

📄 Additional Garbage Can Service Agreement

By submitting this request, the homeowner enters into an agreement with the Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling District (WFWRD) for the use of an additional garbage can at the service address provided.

  1. Account Status
    Your account must be current and in good standing before an additional garbage can can be issued.
  2. Fees
    ▪ Startup Fee: $70 (one-time, non-refundable)
    ▪ Monthly Service Fee: $19.50 per additional garbage can.
  3. Use of Additional Garbage Can
    ▪ Only for use at the service address on this request.
    ▪ Remains property of WFWRD at all times.
    ▪ All garbage must fit with lid fully or nearly closed.
    ▪ Overflow items outside the can will not be collected.
  4. Placement Guidelines
    Place cans at least 3 feet away from:
    ▪ Vehicles
    ▪ Trees or shrubs
    ▪ Mailboxes or signs
    ▪ Other cans
  5. Damage & Replacement Policy
    Damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in a $70 replacement fee.
